Professor at Graz University of Technology

She ceived theDipl.-Ing. and Dr. Tech. degrees in electrical engineering from Darmstadt University of Technology, Darmstadt, Germany, in 1999 and 2004, and the Dipl.-Ing. degree in general engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Ecully, France, in 1999. She was an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison. From January 2007 to March 2010, she was with the School of Engineering, University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., first as an Assistant and then as an Associate Professor. Since April 2010, she has been has been engaged as Professor at Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria. At TU Graz, she is now responsible for close to 20 members of staff, and a range of courses and research activities in the areas of power electronics, electric machines and drives, including their control. Prof. Muetze was the recipient of the FAG Innovation Award 2004 for her work on inverter-induced bearing currents. She was also the recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2005.
